Vendor Acceptable Use Policy

This policy explains what seller-side accounts may and may not do on Zedtra. It is written to protect the marketplace, support compliance, reduce fraud, and set clear operational boundaries for vendor use of the platform.

Who This Vendor Policy Applies To

This Vendor Acceptable Use Policy applies to vendors and other seller-store accounts that use Zedtra to list goods, receive orders, access wallets, submit KYC, or withdraw marketplace proceeds through the seller marketplace flow.

It does not govern manufacturers, sourcing agents, logistics providers, dispatch operators, or other account categories that will operate under separate role-specific policies where their payment structure, delivery duties, or platform rights differ from vendor operations.

By using Zedtra as a vendor or seller-store account, you agree to follow this policy together with the Vendor Agreement, Refund Policy, Privacy and Data Protection Policy, payout rules, verification rules, and any additional marketplace controls or compliance standards published by Zedtra from time to time.

Approved Marketplace Activity

Vendor accounts may only use Zedtra for lawful commercial activity that matches the true nature of their account, store, and business profile. You must operate a genuine business, maintain accurate identity details, and only offer products or services you are legally permitted and commercially able to fulfil.

Accounts created for impersonation, policy evasion, misleading reselling, identity masking, fake business presentation, repeated abusive activity, or hidden beneficial ownership are not permitted.

Prohibited Products And Services

The following are not allowed on Zedtra: counterfeit products, stolen goods, illegal drugs, weapons, dangerous materials, fraudulent investment offers, regulated products sold without required approvals, adult exploitation content, misleading medical claims, fake documents, identity fraud, and any goods or services prohibited by applicable law or payment-provider rules.

We may also restrict categories that present elevated fraud, refund, regulatory, sanctions, reputational, or payment-processor risk, even where the item or service is not expressly illegal.

Vendor Verification, KYC, And Account Integrity

Zedtra may require sellers to submit business registration documents, legal business details, government-issued identification, NIN details, passport details, bank account details, payout account information, tax-related information, face verification records, and any additional information reasonably required for identity verification, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, payment compliance review, sanctions screening, or lawful regulatory response.

Seller-side users must not upload forged, altered, expired, misleading, borrowed, or third-party verification records. We may reject, re-request, manually review, suspend, freeze, or escalate any account where documents appear inconsistent, incomplete, false, duplicated, or high-risk.

Listing Integrity And Product Accuracy

Sellers must only publish listings for goods they are authorized to sell. Product images, videos, certifications, descriptions, measurements, quality claims, prices, lead times, delivery commitments, and stock representations must be materially accurate and kept up to date.

It is prohibited to hide defects, misstate condition, substitute products after payment, use unrelated media, make unverifiable claims, manipulate reviews, or create listings mainly designed to collect deposits without genuine fulfilment intent.

Intellectual Property, Identity, And Content Misuse

You must not use another vendor's logo, business name, legal documents, product content, media, trademarks, packaging identity, or copyrighted materials without lawful rights or authorization. Copying another vendor's protected content or presenting another business identity as your own is prohibited.

No two seller accounts should operate with the same claimed business identity where the records reasonably indicate duplication, impersonation, or document reuse. Where Zedtra reasonably concludes that one account is fake or infringing another legitimate business, we may suspend the suspect account, preserve records, and cooperate with the apparently legitimate business in accordance with applicable law and our privacy policy.

Zedtra Gateway, Fees, Taxes, And Settlement Timing

All marketplace payments for Zedtra orders must be completed through official Zedtra payment channels and gateway flows approved by the platform. Sellers must not redirect buyers away from Zedtra checkout to avoid Zedtra records, service fees, reviews, compliance controls, or dispute visibility.

Zedtra may deduct platform service charges, including the current seller-side service charge of 8.5 percent of eligible product sales, together with any processor charges, reversals, refunds, penalties, taxes, VAT, levies, government-imposed charges, compliance costs, or other lawful fee or deduction that the platform reasonably needs to apply or pass through. Customer-facing purchase fees may be set to zero or adjusted by Zedtra from time to time.

Seller payout availability is subject to payment-provider settlement timelines and Zedtra risk controls. Zedtra may restrict withdrawals or reserve amounts that are reasonably connected to an active refund request, dispute review, chargeback, reversal, fraud screening, identity review, compliance review, tax concern, or lawful legal request. These controls are designed for marketplace safety and do not create an escrow arrangement between the buyer and the seller.

Payout Wallet, Bank Matching, And Non-Custodial Limits

A bank account added for seller wallet withdrawals must match the legal business name supported by the seller's business documents and the store business profile on Zedtra. Accounts using a different personal or business name that does not reasonably match the verified business identity may be rejected, suspended, or removed from payout eligibility.

Zedtra is not a savings platform and seller wallets are not intended for long-term storage of large balances. Sellers are expected to withdraw eligible business funds within a reasonable time after they become withdrawable, subject to payout review and platform withdrawal rules.

Account Security And Credential Responsibility

You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, device access, staff access, and payout controls. Do not expose your login, OTPs, passwords, API credentials, or admin access to another person except a trusted, properly authorized internal business representative.

Loss arising from careless credential sharing, poor internal access control, or allowing another person to misuse your account may be treated as your responsibility. Zedtra may suspend accounts, pause withdrawals, or require renewed verification where compromise or unauthorized access is suspected.

Privacy, Data Use, And Lawful Disclosure

Zedtra may collect, store, review, compare, and process seller-side data including email addresses, phone numbers, bank details, business registration data, identity documents, government-issued IDs, NIN data, passport records, selfies, compliance submissions, transaction history, payout history, and moderation evidence for platform operations, verification, fraud prevention, tax and accounting support, trust and safety review, lawful reporting, dispute handling, and payment-provider compliance.

Zedtra may share relevant seller data with payment processors, banking partners, identity verification vendors, legal advisers, auditors, regulators, courts, law enforcement, tax authorities, or other lawful authorities where reasonably required for compliance, tax reporting, anti-fraud review, sanctions screening, illegal activity monitoring, court orders, investigations, or other lawful requests. Zedtra may also preserve and disclose records where necessary to defend the platform, its owner, staff, contractors, or legitimate users.

Reporting, Review, And Cooperation

Users can report suspicious listings, seller profiles, uploaded documents, and off-platform payment requests for manual review. Zedtra may request further information, delivery proof, chat evidence, ID records, or supporting files where enhanced due diligence is required.

Users must cooperate with reasonable review requests. Failure to respond, deliberate evasion, intimidation of reviewers, or attempts to conceal relevant facts may affect account standing, payout access, and dispute outcomes.

Platform Rights, Legal Escalation, And Business Protection

We may monitor, review, remove, restrict, refuse, delist, suspend, shadow-limit, freeze, hold, or escalate any seller content, account, payout, order, or document where we reasonably believe there is abuse, prohibited activity, elevated risk, legal exposure, payment-processor concern, IP infringement, fake business activity, or potential harm to buyers, other sellers, staff, or the platform.

Where vendor misconduct, fake identity use, IP infringement, fraudulent document submission, or other illegal conduct is alleged, Zedtra may preserve records and support lawful investigations, but Zedtra is not the legal guarantor of a seller's conduct and is not responsible for unlawful acts committed by a seller outside the direct control of the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, seller-side users remain responsible for their own legal compliance, taxes, government filings, commercial promises, product legality, shipping obligations, and dealings with other parties. Sellers may be required to indemnify and hold harmless Zedtra, its owner, developers, employees, contractors, moderators, reviewers, and representatives against losses arising from their breach of policy, IP infringement, misuse of platform technology, false claims, unlawful conduct, fake business operation, or attempts to reuse, copy, or exploit Zedtra proprietary platform work outside authorized use.
